  • MERCHANT MIXING VALVE – SERIES 5213

The failsafe merchant thermostatic mixing valve has been specifically designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of the latest National Health Service model engineering specification - D08 and BS 7942 for use in vulnerable person applications. Approved to EN1287:2017 and EN1111:2017 and therefore suitable for domestic applications in compliance with Part G of the Building Regulations.
  • 45-65° TEMPERING VALVE – SERIES 5218

A tempering valve is used in systems where the water in the storage cylinder can reach temperatures significantly above 60°C. In the event of failure of the hot or cold water supplies the tempering valve will automatically shut down in line with the BS EN 15092 test standard.

  • MIXCAL III THERMOSTATIC FAILSAFE MIXING VALVE – SERIES 5211

Thermostatic mixing valves are used to maintain the domestic hot water supplied to the user at a constant and safe temperature, when variations in the hot and cold water supply conditions and draw off flow rates occur.
The mixcal III range has been designed primarily for single user outlets including wash basins, showers, baths and bidets but is also suitable for multiple outlet use.

  • MIXCAL III GROUP THERMOSTATIC MIXING VALVE – SERIES 5219

Thermostatic mixing valves are used to maintain the domestic hot water supplied to the user at a constant and safe temperature, when variations in the hot and cold water supply conditions and draw off flow rates occur.

The mixcal III group thermostatic mixing valve has been designed especially for centralised systems which demand high flow rates, for example with multiple outlets such as shower and wash basins.

  • MIXCAL MIXPRO® THERMOSTATIC MIXING VALVES – SERIES 5231

Thermostatic mixing valves are used to maintain the domestic hot water supplied to the user at a constant and safe temperature, when variations in the hot and cold water supply conditions and draw off flow rates occur.

The 5231 range has been designed especially for centralised systems which demand high flow rates, for example with multiple outlets such as shower and wash basins.

  • MX VALVES (PAIR) – FOR USE WITH SERIES 5211

About our Domestic Thermostatic Mixing Valves

The Altecnic TMV range covers use with hot and cold water, with inlet pressures of up to 14 bar, maximum inlet temperatures of 85°C, and temperature controls of +/-2°C.

Why use a TMV?

In domestic settings, TMVs are particularly important where young children and the elderly are present. Typically, people in these demographics are at particular risk of life-threatening scalds due to a potential lack of mobility and skin sensitivity. Fitting can be a legal requirement.

The primary feature of a TMV is that it offers additional safety via a thermal shutdown mechanism. In the event of a disruption to the hot or cold water supply to the valve, the failsafe design shuts off the mixed water flow automatically.
