  • L-PATTERN THERMOSTATIC MIXING VALVES – SERIES 5200

Thermostatic mixing valves are used to maintain the domestic hot water supplied to the user at a constant and safe temperature, when variations in the hot and cold water supply conditions and draw off flow rates occur.

The valves are also equipped with an anti-scald safety function which immediately shuts off the flow of hot water in the event of a failure in the cold water supply.

The 5200 mixing valves provides the mixed water outlet in line with the hot water inlet from the storage, facilitating trouble-free connection and reducing the space required for installation.

  • LEGIOMIX® 6000 SERIES – ELECRONIC MIXING VALVE WITH PROGRAMMABLE THERMAL DISINFECTION

The electronic mixing valve is used in centralised systems that produce and distribute domestic hot water.

Its function is to guarantee and maintain the temperature of the domestic hot water delivered to the user when there are variations in the temperature and pressure of the hot and cold water at the inlet or in the draw-off flow rate.

This particular series of electronic mixing valves is equipped with a specific regulator that controls a set of programs for circuit thermal disinfection against Legionella.

It also allows checking that the thermal disinfection temperature and time are actually reached and means the appropriate corrective action can be taken. All the parameters are updated every day and logged, with temperatures recorded every hour.

Depending on the type of system and habits of the user, it is possible to program temperature levels and operation times in the most appropriate manner. In addition, it is fitted for a monitoring and remote control connection.

  • LEGIOMIX® 2.0 6000 SERIES – HYBRID ELECTRONIC MIXING VALVE

The electronic hybrid mixing valve combines the typical function of the mechanical thermostatic mixing valve and the management efficiency of an electronic mixing valve in a single device.

The thermostatic mixing valve responds promptly to any variation in temperature, pressure and inlet flow rate to quickly restore the mixed water temperature to the outlet.

This standard mixing valve is effectively handled by a motorised actuator that, under the control of a specific regulator, changes the mixed water temperature set position.

  • OEM THERMOSTATIC MIXING VALVE – SERIES 5213 & 5219

Thermostatic mixing valves are used to maintain the domestic hot water supplied to the user at a constant and safe temperature, when variations in the hot and cold water supply conditions and draw off flow rates occur.

The Altecnic 5219 thermostatic mixing valves are designed primarily for single outlet use.

It delivers mixed hot water at a set temperature to taps, showers, baths and bidets making it ideal for use in domestic and commercial hot water systems.

  • 116 THERMOSTATIC REGULATOR FOR HOT WATER RECIRCULATION

The Altecnic thermostatic regulator for domestic hot water re-circulation systems automatically maintain the specified water temperature.
The thermostatic regulator is intended to be installed in the return pipe of each re-circulation circuit, automatically maintaining the specified water temperature. The regulator controls the flow rate in accordance with the inlet water temperature by means of a dedicated internal thermostatic cartridge. When the water temperature approaches the set value, the obturator progressively closes and reduces the flow passage reducing the amount of water re-circulating.
The water supplied by the re-circulation pump is available to be distributed to other branches in the system, resulting in effective automatic thermal balancing.

  • MIXCAL CAREFLO PLUS® THERMOSTATIC MIXING VALVE – SERIES 5213+

The Mixcal Careflo Plus® failsafe thermostatic mixing valves have been designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of BS 7942:2011.
This valve has a unique feature which allows for thermal disinfection to be performed through to the outlets, helping to protect against Legionella and other microbial organisms. The 101-3001 has a universal tailpiece and adapter and 101-3002 comes complete with universal MX ends with adapter.

About our Domestic Thermostatic Mixing Valves

The Altecnic TMV range covers use with hot and cold water, with inlet pressures of up to 14 bar, maximum inlet temperatures of 85°C, and temperature controls of +/-2°C.

Why use a TMV?

In domestic settings, TMVs are particularly important where young children and the elderly are present. Typically, people in these demographics are at particular risk of life-threatening scalds due to a potential lack of mobility and skin sensitivity. Fitting can be a legal requirement.

The primary feature of a TMV is that it offers additional safety via a thermal shutdown mechanism. In the event of a disruption to the hot or cold water supply to the valve, the failsafe design shuts off the mixed water flow automatically.
